Peru

Peru is a country in the western hemisphere of South America. It is bordered by Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, and the Pacific Ocean. The country has diverse geography with mountains and rainforest in the west and a desert in the east.

Peru has an impressive history as it was one of the first countries to be discovered by Europeans. It is also home to some of the oldest civilizations on Earth with some evidence dating back more than 12000 years ago.

Peru’s tourism industry has been growing rapidly over recent years with more than 2 million tourists visiting Peru every year. This growth can be attributed to many factors such as low costs for airfare and hotel stays increased popularity of eco-tourism and adventure tourism and a wider availability of flights from North America and Europe.
